Emmanuel Brulé

Emmanuel Brulé was appointed Chief Risk Officer (CRO) of Sompo International Holdings Ltd. in July 2023.

Prior to joining the Company, Mr Brulé was the Chief Executive Officer of Sanlam Pan Africa General Insurance (formerly SAHAM Group).

He also held numerous leadership positions during his 14 years with AIG, including CRO for EMEA and President of Commercial Lines for EMEA. Throughout Mr Brulé’s 30-year career in insurance and reinsurance, he has worked across various geographies including Bermuda, Casablanca, London, Zurich and Paris. Mr Brulé holds a master’s degree in chemical engineering from École Centrale de Paris, France.
