The Lord Mayor’s Appeal and the Sompo Foundation announce strategic partnership to unlock brighter futures
LONDON, United Kingdom, September 21, 2026 — The Lord Mayor’s Appeal today announced a new strategic partnership with the Sompo Foundation, the philanthropic arm of global commercial and consumer property, casualty, and specialty insurance and reinsurance provider, Sompo International Holdings Ltd. (Sompo), to equip young people in the UK with the knowledge, skills and real-world experience they need to obtain meaningful employment.
Built on a shared commitment to strengthening inclusive communities, this collaboration will focus on expanding access to opportunities, support and resources that enable young people to advance toward their potential.
Through the Sompo Foundation, we are proud to support The Lord Mayor’s Appeal, and contribute to work that expands opportunities for young people who may not otherwise have access to the support, skills and pathways they need to thrive in the City of London and beyond.
