Dan Dugan is SVP, Head of Life Sciences & Private Equity for Middle Market P&C at Sompo.
In this role, he is responsible for setting strategy and driving profitable growth across a diverse middle market portfolio, with accountability for underwriting performance and portfolio development within his segments.
Mr Dugan brings nearly 20 years of middle market property and casualty insurance experience. He has held roles of increasing responsibility across underwriting and leadership functions, building broad expertise in serving middle market clients and managing complex portfolios.
Prior to joining Sompo, he worked at Chubb and The Hartford, where he supported a range of middle market P&C initiatives and contributed to portfolio growth and risk management.
Mr Dugan holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Denison University.
