Edmund Wiley is Head of International Property, London at Sompo, having joined the company in January 2021.

In this role, he is responsible for the underwriting leadership and development of Sompo’s international property portfolio, with a focus on disciplined risk selection, portfolio management and market engagement across global client segments.

Mr Wiley began his career in the insurance industry in 2005 and has since held underwriting roles at a number of leading international insurers. Through these positions, he has built broad experience across property risks and international markets, working closely with brokers and clients to structure appropriate coverage solutions.
