Callum English

In this role, Mr English is responsible for the leadership and development of Sompo’s UK professional indemnity portfolio, including underwriting strategy, portfolio management and market engagement across the London market.

Mr English has more than 20 years of experience in the insurance industry, with a career focused on professional indemnity and complex commercial risks.

Prior to joining Sompo, he spent 14 years at CNA Hardy, where he led both Company and Syndicate portfolios as Class Manager for Professional Indemnity in London. In that role, he was responsible for underwriting performance, portfolio growth and broker relationships.
